Baz mate, these videos are awful, I really cant stand C & W
I'll try to re-rail the thread then. After due consideration I nominate as my worst of.....The Beatles - Blue Jay Way (Best Quality)The Beatles - Blue Jay Way (Best Quality)
But it says its the best right under the video...twice!
I bought The Rutles - All You Need Is Cash DVD and CD about ten years ago, Kelley. The review of Anthology mentioned that the video was cropped for widescreen presentation. The Eric Idle "narration" was nothing more than an interview which was not synchronized with the video so I passed on it.
I used to feel that way too Kev but one day I decided that I really liked Patsy Cline. Then it was Johnny Cash and then I guess I just became more open to a lot of the older stuff. The new stuff kinda sets my teeth on edge though. I had outpatient surgery last year, performed by a doctor who apparently digs the stuff. I only had to have a local anesthetic but by about the third song I was ready to beg him to put me under. LOL
Its not for me Im afraid, I don't like Banjo's If its any consolation though I like this and Im sure its country (I don't know why I like it)Neil Young - The Old Country Waltz
It's a waltz! Maybe that's why you like it, Kev. It's a start, anyway.Maybe you'll like this waltz too...Punch Brothers :: Baby's in Black [LIVE]Punch Brothers Baby's In Black
Sorry Baz, Hillbilly redneck music, reminds me of the film Deliverance, any sort of banjo, mandolin type things - yuk
Yeah! He could say all them there places in one breath!Johnny Cash - I've Been Everywhere
I have a banjo. They can add quite nice resonating sounds to tracks without turning them into bluegrass. Definitely stay away from the hillbilly sound though. And squealing like a piggie.
Q: Why is the banjo player a fiddle player's best friend? A: Without him, the fiddle would be the most hated instrument on earth.
