I’ve picked the series up again after a bit of a break. I’m really loving it. Just great to wallow in Paul talking about the Beatles and how they worked. He is looking older of course. He’s old. Someone mentioned there was a filter on his neck to hide the ageing. Now I can’t stop watching his throat.

Filter ?
Although I've stayed on top of this thread, I haven't posted any comment about it. I'm simply not interested in seeing this documentary.
All these criticisms are valid. Paul can be a rote in his answers, it’s sad to see him aged etcBut it’s Paul talking about Beatle music with a knowledgeable and accomplished producer. What’s not to enjoy when all is said and done?
Surprised he didnt give the stitching together of SFF story !Great impression btw.

Well. . . Rick Rubin's fawning attitude, for one. But then I suppose everyone fawns over Paul. I still plan on finishing the series, nearly done now.
I liked Rick when he was pointing out interesting things from the tapes. But there was a bit of the “wow” fan thing going. Like being seemingly amazed at Paul’s very in-depth tutorial (I’m being a bit sarcastic here)on how to build a chord on the piano. Maybe that’s just how people think they need to act around Paul.I have two episodes to go. I’ll finish them soon. I am enjoying.
I think Paul is treated like the British Royal family.....with reverence. Say or do the wrong thing and you're out in the cold
