Ukraine is not an integral state and has been falling apart since long ago. Government, military groups, oligarchs - each pursues its own goals. There is no order.

Sounds more like Russia to me.

Wow. That's a real eye-opener. It really took me aback. I

This is what the Russian Press Agency stated, certainly not the truth.

Well, yes, that's what I meant: the blatant prevarication. I shared that with my daughters to show them an example of state-run media.

Dmitry, what happened to Sergei Shoigu?

Did he disappear the way Leon Trotsky did?

I don't know. You asked and just right now I found out that many people ask this question  ha2ha
I went through the russian news, found nothing interesting. Some say he's ill , some say he disappeared.
Shoigu has not appeared in public since March 11. Insteresting.

Rifles dont work apparently..

Seems to be true, knowing the inhuman conditions in which my brother-in-law fights. Though 1940s rifles looks like an exaggeration.

It seems that this still applies to the soldiers of Donbass. Russian soldiers are well equipped.

I almost stop reading all these military reports. I just do not have enough competence to figure out where the lie is and where the truth is. You can go crazy with all this news.

Regarding Bucha, I do not rule out that the Russians did it. But I don’t understand why they had to do it so theatrically, and expose themselves in such a way that the whole world could see? Who benefits?

Putin hasn't managed to roll into Ukraine cities with his tanks and he hasn't managed to break Ukraine with his missiles.

So unfortunately he's resorting to terrorism. And terrorism must be seen. The more people who see it, the more people will think "maybe we should let Putin have his way".

Nobody in the West has the shadow of a doubt that Bucha is a Russian war crime.

I know it's difficult for you Dmitry but if you can just try to get the message through to the fine Russian people that things are happening in Ukraine in their name that are competely unacceptable.

I don't think I could help people to change their mind. There are a lot of people who against the war and Putin. Some of then write in social media, some talk on youtube, other go to rallies. Me, I'm just afraid to state my position publicly.

I have no illusions about Putin. He doesn't give a damn about us, the Russians, and even more so, he doesn't give a damn about the Ukrainians and the people of Donetsk. But I don't understand some things. For example, why everybody is silence about everyday bombing Donetsk?! Or why Russians left so many evidences in Bucha? The incident in Bucha is very theatrical. What is the purpose?

Yes, be careful, Dmitry.

As for me, I'm sickened by the footage coming out of Bucha.  And further sickened by the denials coming from the Kremlin seeking to blame Ukranians for committing these atrocities.  I believe the family members who witnessed these crimes and hope one day their testimony will be heard in a world court.

Theatrical? Are you crazy?

The purpose? What was the purpose of invading Ukraine in the first place?
