« on: April 08, 2005, 08:55:18 PM »

has anyone noticed that ringos songs witht he beatles tended to be country?take act naturally, and what goes on for example, theyre both country and westeren, as is 'taking a trip to carolina', one of his l8ter songs, that was never properly released.anyway, i think his songs are the highlights on the beatles albums such as 'help, 'rubber soul', and 'please please me', and think he's really great!!! can wait till his new album comes out(anybody know when??)

Ringo's new album is called "Choose Love" and it comes out in June.  If you see the video update for 24.03.05 on his website www.ringostarr.com then you can get a look at the cover which looks pretty cool.  Yes Ringo has done alot of songs that sound Country and alot of Country covers but he is a huge Country fan and has been for years.  In fact that's how he got the name Ringo because he wears alot of rings and it sounds like a coyboy name.  Also some people may know that before he joined the Beatled Ringo was thinking of moving to Texas.

You're right. He sent an inquiry to the Chamber of Commerce.

Did Ringo ever buy a house in Texas after The Beatles broke up?
