Why was Paul barefooted?

Was the VW Beetle in the background deliberately, or was it pure coincidence?

Do you think Abbey Road is the best Beatles album cover? I do for one.

Sorry,... well I like it very much and it was innovative (the absence of the title and so...) but it's not my favourite one.
If I think of a photo (this cover was that) I love Guys for Sale's one and if I think about a drawing I love Revolver's one.

Sgt. Pepper still #1 on my list!  The Abby Road cover brought out a flury of discussion when the whole "Paul" is dead thing came up! The plate # etc him barefoot=dead? etc.

"No actually" that whole thing was started by a disc jockey and happened way after the release of Sgt. Pepper. The Bare footed Paul, George dressed in denim was suppose to be the grave digger, the liscense says if 28 I believe which would have been Pauls age when he dided or something it was all "Abby Road">

Paul was not on all pictures that were take that day barefooted. There are several Pictures on which he wore shoes

The VW Beatle was totally coincidence ...

The Best Beatles Album Cover Ever in my opinion is

Revolver hardly followed by
Sgt. Pepper and the White Album
