Welcome Harri! You don't sound boring at all.
@Normandie -- The Beatles were awesome in concert! I can still "see" them shaking their heads, their guitars flashing, hearing their voices every now and then over the screaming crowd, and flash bulbs going off non-stop.
1. Ophelia Harriet Gorston (Harri will do nicely though, call me ophelia at your own risk)2. Liverpool, England (yay!)3. 154. I play guitar and I'm playing with my uncles band at The Cavern in August. Im pretty boring really. I live in Speke, not far away from George's house and I go to what used to be Quarry Bank high school (:
I'm practically drooling reading your post. I always thought I should have been born in 1948 so that I could have been 16 when the Beatles came to America and 21 when Woodstock took place! I am convinced I would have been one of those screaming, crying girls tearing at my hair when the Beatles arrived, even though I know at that time their tremendous future was still not known.
You sound just like me Kathy. I always suffered with that "born too late syndrome". Of course, if I would have been born in 1948 my poor mother would have had two babies that year!
Why thank you! (: I am fairly boring, the only interesting thing is living in Speke, which is a boss place to live and thanks for not calling me Harri too

But she did call you Harri. Welcome to the Forum! Enjoy your stay.
Jean Simmons as Ophelia...Well I'd be rather disturbed if my mum named me after her.Carolyn Jones as Ophelia (Frump)...
Ugh, I'm losing my tree. Just re-read my post and realised what it said. I think I meant thanks for not calling me Ophelia or something along those lines..
I knew what you meant!
Well I'd be rather disturbed if my mum named me after her.
I read a post recently on the Facebook page for my hometown where someone mentioned that the Poni-Tails performed during the opening of the local radio station. Of course this person also said that they sang their number 1 hit "To Know Him is to Love Him" so I'm not sure how well she remembered it.
That's what happens when someone is not born too late.
Welcome to the forum, BBally!
