I get delivered a specialist Rock 'n' Roll magazine called 'Now Dig This' and the day anyone in there has a good word to say about Sinatra or any of the Rat Pack I'll be sure to report it.
To many, those two styles of music are still mutually exclusive.
As for this 'liking all kinds of music' line, when stuff like 'Wonderwall Music' and 'Electronic Sound' has been discussed, such a liberal attitude has been found COMPLETELY lacking on this forum, so don't give me that 'I like all kinds of music' line!
That's the kind of thing I expect to hear on 'xFactor'.....they always 'like all kinds of music', you can set your clock by it!
I never said I like "all kinds of music". I don't think that's possible. I have no use for hip-hop, metal, opera, modern country, modern top 40, to name a few.
Your magazine specializes in rock and roll, which is fine. A lot of people who like rock and roll like other genres. You don't, I get it.
You cherry-picked 2 albums to say that people don't have liberal attitudes towards music. Whatever.
I'm done here. You will never be persuaded about certain genres and I will never stop listening to jazz, classical, Sinatra/Bennett/Julie London, Johnny Cash, etc.
