Because we've reached the maximum number of YouTube videos we can place on this page, George.  When we get to the next page, the count starts all over again.  It has nothing to do with the number of videos you've posted.

Thanks for the explanation Barry.  Makes sense.

John Renbourn (from Pentangle): 'The Lady & The Unicorn' (Transatlantic, 1970). Can't believe that Paul wouldn't have dug this as it has a very similar vibe, albeit a folky one, to 'McCartney' from the same year.
It's actually alerted me to an alarming gap in the ol' collection, namely the shameful absence of Davey Graham records. Oh dear, no excuse, that will have to be remedied next Saturday.....I've just got to find a football match near central London to fit around it!

Gone totally GROOVY after picking up one of those library music compilations of stuff that used to be sold to film and TV companies in the 60s for £1.99 in Oxfam.
It's called 'Blow Up Volume 2' and was all the rage around the time of Britpop. I already had Volume 1, and it's really so enjoyable I might hunt out Volumes 3 & 4.
Rather frighteningly the CD itself is now 17 years old!

I guess The Beatles weren't the only ones to cover Larry Williams. Lots of bands did this B side of "Bad Boy":

I like this cover the best:

Still to get those Davy Graham CDs, but rediscovered John Renbourn's 'Faro Annie' from 1971 instead.

Twenty years ago I don't think this was necessarily the case, and it is my own opinion (others are available), but those folk LPs from the late 60s/early 1970s seem to have stood the test of time far more than the heavy rock stuff from the same era. They somehow seem more contemporary.

He sure was right on!
I was looking at his drum sets and it brings to mind an interview I saw where Ringo was talking about an oversized Ludwig that was brought in for the Hello Goodbye video (non uniformed) and how he just couldn't get comfortable with it. Anybody know what kind of drums John played?

Yes. If that song didn't melt a girl's heart nothing would.
